Our farming roots go back more than a century. In that time, we’ve grown and produced many of our own ingredients, not because it was easy, but because gave us a better product. Our recipes require purpose-driven ingredients delivered to our family owned-and-operated production facilities in our home state of Wisconsin. Our vetted suppliers are trusted, carefully selected, and held to the same high standards we demand of ourselves. The reason is simple: Because in the end, like all farmers, we’re feeding family.

When doing things the right way is the only option, you have to do it yourself. That’s why we own and run three of our own facilities right here in Wisconsin. It gives us total control of the process and allows us to maintain our own exceptional standards of quality and safety. That means every bag and can of our cat and dog food comes from a place where we control every aspect of the process, and can guarantee a food that is prepared with extraordinary care.

A Proud Family Legacy
When your name is on the line, everything down to the last detail has to be right. That’s why since 1904 – through five generations – there has been family deeply involved in everything from the kitchens and factory floor to the decisions that run the company. And the Fromm and Nieman families go back in marriage and business together even further – to the 1880s.
Today, Tom, Kathy, Bryan, and Dan Nieman proudly represent the fourth and fifth generations of a family business that’s still focused on new and better ways to add health and happiness to the next generation of pets and pet families everywhere.
Strengthening Our Communities
We help families “shop local” with a firm commitment to neighborhood pet shops nationwide. Equally importantly, we also created our own “Fromm Give Back” program that gives help and support to Dogs Inc, as well as many other local and national organizations that promote pet rescue, adoption and service.
