Dry kibbled products and some treats are made with a continuous cooker-extruder, which uses heat, steam, and friction to cook the food while preserving its nutrients. Fresh frozen dog foods are gently cooked sous-vide for precise, even cooking that enhances both flavor and nutrition, then flash-frozen to lock in freshness.
