Our veterinary owned and operated premier pet care center is the first of its kind in our area. Our amenities include cage free boarding and spacious home-like pet suites, complete with TV's and raised beds or dorm style private runs, room service providing premium meals served twice daily, and at least 6 outdoor exercise and potty breaks daily for all canine guests. For out of town visitors, consider us when your travels bring you to the Brazos Valley. We are conveniently located just 3 miles south of TAMU in a brand new state-of-the-art facility. With our spacious accommodations and caring trained staff, you can rest assured that your pet is receiving the care, love and attention that you would provide at home.

At Waggie Pet Zone we strive to provide the finest care for all of our guests. Our staff members are true animal lovers and take great joy in caring for your pets. We collaborate with our pet owners to customize a program of care that will best suit each pet’s individual needs. All of the boarding areas are climate-controlled with soothing music played continuously. Our facility was designed with your pet’s comfort in mind.

While you’re at work, school, or just have a busy day of errands ahead of you, your dog can be playing and getting the attention, he needs (instead of chewing on the living room furniture!). We have two unique options for your dog to have the chance to socialize and make some new friends. 

Daycare and Playcare are offered Monday – Friday. We do not offer either of these programs on the weekend.

At Waggie Pet Zone, we offer a variety of training classes along with private lessons to help you address behavioral issues and to develop a harmonious relationship with your dog. The curriculum for all of our training classes were designed and evaluated by Shannon Casto, our lead in-house trainer. As members of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) you can rest assured that we employ proven, safe and effective training techniques.

Our professionally trained staff will be glad to take care of your pet’s routine grooming needs—whether that involves giving a bath, clipping nails, or cleaning ears. Our Hydrosurge Bathing system features the exclusive InjectAir™ technology, which thoroughly penetrates the coat bringing oxygen to the skin and effectively removing loose hair and debris, leaving your pet cleaner and healthier than ever.

If you’re booking grooming services in conjunction with day care or boarding, please make the spa reservation in advance to ensure your spot on the schedule. If the services are requested at check-in time they may not be available.

At Waggie Pet Zone our focus is on wellness for dogs and cats. We offer examination, vaccination, diagnostic testing, parasite control, behavior counseling and nutritional therapies (including vitamin, minerals, herbs, Chinese herbs, and prescription diets). We also recommend and provide distemper and parvo titer testing in lieu of vaccination for adult dogs. This practice is not a specialty practice, but we are happy to refer our clients to board certified veterinarians in respective specialty fields when the need arises. Our goal is to treat our client and their pets with respect, dignity and compassion at all times and to draw from our years of experience to promote long lasting good health for your pets
