Let us introduce ourselves…. My name is Jessica, and I am married to my loving husband Matt and have 2 wonderful children.
What people don’t know about me is that I grew up in this industry! My parents started Hillside Meadow Agway in Tilton, NH when I was 14. I worked at the family business on weekends, selling grass seed, grain and pet foods. I went off to college after graduating high school and was drawn back to the lawn and garden retail industry after earning my business degree. I guess it stuck: I ended up managing the family store for over 14 years……
My family and I moved to beautiful Newbury, NH in 2012 where I raised my children and earned my MBA in Business Management. I quickly realized that the corporate world was not for me! It was not my passion- which is where 5 Acres came to fruition.
