Passion Fur Pets Grooming

Let me tell you a little about myself and how I got started. My name is Nichole Jopke, owner and sole operator of Passion Fur Pets Grooming. I have been a devoted dog groomer since 2001.

Animals have always been an important part of my life. I knew at a young age that I wanted to work with animals, especially dogs. When it came time to attend college, I knew it had to involve animals in some way. I chose to attend Duluth Business University to obtain a degree as a Veterinarian Assistant. During that time, I was a kennel attendant at an area Boarding and Grooming facility.

Shortly after graduating in 2001, my employers noticed me watching very intently while they were grooming dogs and asked if I would like to learn. I jumped at the chance! I researched on my own how certain haircuts should look, all the while taking pointers from my boss. I read many books and studied the "finished" pictures. I was beginning to find my niche with animals. I absolutely love to see the outcome of a well-groomed pet.

In January of 2004 my husband and I relocated to Superior, Wisconsin where I was then employed by a local business as a groomer. In 2007 we made yet another move back to Duluth where I decided to groom from my home. I started to grow my own little business, which had become my ultimate goal once I began grooming. I take great pride in the fact that my customers have followed me through the years and continue to use my services for their pets.

In March of 2010 I had reached my goal and opened Passion Fur Pets Grooming.
