Hap-E-Dog Natural Food & Barkery is a local, family-owned business that truly loves animals. The Barkery is owned and operated by Lindi and Yvonne and first opened its doors in May 2000.
We got into the natural pet food business because our yellow lab, Angel, had chronic ear infections. At first, our first vet recommended that our dog have major, expensive surgery to correct the problem. We decided to get a second opinion.
We’re glad we did.
Our second vet suggested that rather than doing the surgery, we should try switching to a food that had no corn, wheat, soy, or other harmful ingredients to our dog’s health. We were feeding a popular grocery-store brand at the time. We switched and Angel never had another ear infection for the rest of her 16 years. Healthy pets has become our passion!
Today, we carry the best brand-name, natural foods and pet care products, as well as our own handmade treats baked right here in the Hap-E-Dog kitchen!
